Jamison was best known for being the lead singer of the bands Cobra and Survivor. He also co-wrote and sang the theme song for the TV show Baywatch. He was asked to become lead singer of Deep Purple but it did not work out. Jamison co-wrote and sang "I'm Always Here" for the TV show Baywatch.
