Angelina Jolie Is Remaining Mum About Where Maddox Is Going To College In The Fall
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s oldest son Maddox will be heading to college in the fall. But, his mom won’t give any details about where her 17-year-old will be attending school.
Angie and Maddox have been visiting universities in recent months, including a school in South Korea as well as New York University (NYU). The Oscar winner recently told People Magazine that she is “nothing but proud” of Maddox, who she adopted in 2002 from an orphanage in Cambodia, and she says that she looks “forward to all he will do.”

Jolie’s approach to her son’s education is quite different from Kimora Lee Simmons, who just announced on Instagram that her daughter, Aoki, has been accepted to Harvard. In a video post, Aoki read her acceptance letter, and her mom said she was over the moon about her 16-year-old daughter’s achievements.
“I’m still crying and beaming … but I’m so excited that Aoki got into Harvard. This has been a ride for me … Quite honestly, she really did it on her own merit, and we’re really so proud because Aoki really can’t row or anything like that. There was really no hope for us in that area,” joked Simmons, referring to the recent college admissions scandal.
In the video’s background, Aoki said, “I can’t row!”

The admissions scandal included Full House star Lori Loughlin and Desperate Housewives alum Felicity Huffman – and other wealthy families – who allegedly paid thousands of dollars for their kids to gain entrance into elite universities.
Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, allegedly dished out half a million dollars to have their two daughters, Olivia and Isabella, designated as USC crew recruits even though neither one played the sport.
As for Jolie, she is keeping Maddox’s college details quiet, but she is talking about a possible run for public office. The UN special envoy said “never say never,” but right now she is “looking to others for leadership.”
Jolie also revealed that she and her kids are working on a new global current affairs TV program aimed at children, and they are partnering with the BBC to make the project happen. The Tomb Raider star says that she and her kids enjoy reading the New York Times’ kids pull-out and National Geographic, but there isn’t one vetted and reliable international news program for children that families can watch every week.
